Many things inspire me, from religious freedom to environmental protection, but I am inspired most by youth who have realized their own potential to initiate and produce positive changes in their environment. An issue that matters to me is education, particularly the right to education, because unlike any other rights it is the only inalienable right that once acquired, remains a vital part of one’s existence. I am passionate about issues which deal with youth empowerment. Many young people today lack empowerment and without it societies will not be able to grow to its fullest potential. I became aware of this issue while counseling young people. I loved listening to what they had to say and I also enjoyed giving them my point of view, at the same time letting them know it was just my opinion.
